Kay Monroe is President of Cayman Scientific Consulting and brings to the firm nearly thirty years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals industries. She is a decision-maker and leader, well-versed in the challenges of executive-level operations, project management, strategic planning, integration, cost control and other team- and change-related challenges. 

She has held executive positions in a variety of corporate and nonprofit settings including, among others, Adamas Pharmaceuticals, Global Project Partners, LLC, Mitsubishi Tanabe Development America, Zagaya, Amyris, Cerus, Sunovian, Roche and Malinckrodt. 

In addition to her consulting work, Kay teaches for UC Berkeley Extension as well as The Center for Professional Innovation and Education. She has taught courses on such subjects as Clinical Project Management, Effective Document Management, Writing SOPs and Selecting and Managing Outsourced Vendors.
